I first started doing open source as a way of having at hand an API boilerplate and some random scripts with utilities.
It was afterwards that I started isolating functionalities and publishing them as packages, or simply putting them on GitHub.
I usually try to report any issue I find within the libraries I use and, if possible, create a PR with a possible fix.
